It seems like everything we read, everything that's on tv, everything we hear is always bad news. I get so tired of hearing all the bad and wonder where the good in this world is. I know it's out there but it doesn't sell. That's really quite unfortunate. Lucky for me, I'm not trying to sell anything or win any votes so I can share all the happy news I want! So without further ado here are my top 10 for today (in no particular order):
1) Hearing Colin squeal to let me know he's awake and getting to see his smiling face when I go to pick him up!
2) The fact that Colin is sleeping through the night. Sleep is so underrated!
3) Having Wes tell me he loves me and to have a good day every day before I leave for work. What a swell guy.
4) Coming home from work and having a meal hot and ready that my mom has prepared. Some might called this spoiled, I call it fortunate!
5) Hearing Colin coo and goo as he tells me about his day. Is there anything more precious than those little noises?!
6) Feeling the crisp sheets as I slither into bed (at 9:00).
7) The smell of Colin after he's just had a bath.
8) Hearing my Granny gush about Colin because I'm so fortunate to still have her around to enjoy him.
9) Wearing new clothes, especially now that I actually get to wear some fall things!
10) Getting emails from friends so that I know what's going on in their lives.
There are many more but those are the things that make me smile right now. What makes you smile?
You are very articulate and creative with words! It's so obvious (and I can see why) you adore your family so much. Colin looks precious and he's getting to be a BIG boy. Take care
