You say it's your birthday...

...it was my birthday too! Yesterday for the 7th time in my life, I got to share my birth day with one of the loves of my life, my dad!   This year, I also got to share it with Wes.  If you do some quick math, you'll discover that means I turned 35.   I don't consider that old but I'm not looking forward to 36 because that sounds like a real adult age. I'm not ready to be a real adult yet (:

I got to be pampered Saturday with a massage, pedicure, and a fabulous dinner in Louisville with my adorable husband.  Sunday I wanted to allow him some time to himself for Father's Day, so it was an afternoon with just me and the boys.  By the end of the day, after some delicious peach cake, courtesey of my darling mother, we were pooped and curled up on the couch together.  What a perfect ending to a perfect birthday weekend!

I think you can catch a glimpse of the cake in this picture.  I hope so because that was the intent, not so much a self portrait!

One child is in the anti-photograph stage right now.  Any guesses?
