Big Brother

I'm taking advantage of the rare opportunity to get on the computer because both boys are down for the count early tonight!  By 7:55, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.  I'm sure I just jinxed myself and I'll be hearing some wailing any moment but for now, I'm enjoying sitting in bed, eating warm chocolate chip cookies, with my laptop and watching (listening) to whatever I want (non-cartoon related).  Funny how our definition of bliss changes as we get older.

Enough about me.  On to those precious boys.  I love to watch Sawyer watch Colin.  His little eyes follow him around like he thinks he's just great.  He grins, as if to say that he thinks his big brother is the coolest person in the world.  Despite Colin's pokes, grabs, squeezes, hits, and screams, Sawyer still thinks the world of his big brother and obviously loves him dearly.  (Do babies even know what love is?)  By the way, I'm totally looking forward to the day when Sawyer can fight back and I'm just going to sit back and let him.

I was able to catch this sweet moment a couple nights ago as Sawyer was waking up in his carseat.  Colin was hovering, as usual, and Sawyer was staring a hole through him.  This is right before Colin started rocking the carseat with all his might.  Sawyer just sat there and enjoyed the ride!

It's been cold here.  We don't typically wear our hoods indoors.  But he is the cutest hooded baby ever!

  1. Isn't it so cold right now? Ugh! They are even calling for possible snow in southern Kentucky for Friday. It may only be flurries but seriously?!

  2. I love the look on Sawyer's face in the first picture. He looks a little bit surprised...a little bit scared for his life.
