When the cat is away, the mice will play!

Instead of hurriedly giving Colin a bath last night when he was already past tired, Wes volunteered to bathe him today while he was home with him. I'll buy that for a dollar! So today I talked to Wes after said bath and he was telling me how much Colin enjoyed it (a total transformation from a mere 3 weeks ago) and how he taught him a few new songs. Silly me, I was thinking they would be kiddie songs or perhaps a made-up one. Oh no, he taught him "Splish Splash I Was Takin' A Bath" and "Boogie Nights". When prompted, Colin sang them for me in his own Chinese-speaking way, "Splish Splash I Take Bath" and "Boogie Boogie Night". The second song I'm embarrassed to say was sung because of the boogers in his nose. I suppose I should just be glad neither song involved explicit lyrics and neither would be particularly embarrassing should he decide to sing it out in public. Ah, the differences between a man's and woman's brain waves!
