3. I love pizza as much as the next guy, but this is just not right. Can you imagine the heartburn and indigestion he surely felt afterwards. I'm not sure I could eat pizza again for years. Or ever.
Every spiritual tradition has a practice of
gratitude. Not just for
some presumed spiritual or ethical benefit, but because it works. The heartfelt
expression of gratitude lifts us out of the mind’s usual
restless feeling of “not enough” into the joy of sufficiency. We open ourselves to take in the blessings
that surround us.
5. I'm tackling homemade Valentines this weekend for Colin's class. Say a little prayer that things go as planned and we don't bite each other's head off.
I love picking up just because flowers. They make my day so much better!
