Is it really November?

With the temperatures reaching near-record highs this week, you'd never know it was almost Thanksgiving!  Now if we could just have a little longer daylight in the evenings, us working people might actually be able to enjoy it.  Colin and I took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend with a little outside photo shoot playtime.

A boy and his dump truck.
A view from the rear - ha!

What is it with boys and sticks (and rocks, and leaves, and any other random object found outside)?
And then when the objects you are collecting squish all over your hands, you first look in amazement and then whine until the mess is cleaned off.

Check out that double chin action.
Then I decided it would be fun to have him climb the tree.  After an immediate "I can't," I propped him up and he got stuck.  Maybe that wasn't such a good idea.  Or maybe I should have saved that for a time when I wanted him to sit still!

Another view from the back.  I clearly can't get enough of that little tush!  I also love that, despite his large gut, the belt still goes around almost to the back.

And then he wore himself out.  It didn't take long (Remember the post about exercise?) so we clearly need to get out more often.
My favorite shot!  If you didn't know better, you'd think he was the perfect angel.  He can be but he's got a little mischief in there too!

  3. I have to admit that I really love this weather, minus the high winds we have had. Colin really looks like he is enjoying the last of the warmth as well.
